He’ll be moderating a virtual panel discussion with creatives who have worked extensively in film/television AND found success in comics. The panel will include Melody Cooper (OMNI), David Avallone (Elvira Meets Vincent Price), Amanda Deibert (DC Super Hero Girls), and David Booher(Canto, Alien Bounty Hunter). As Hollywood becomes more and more Intellectual Property driven, the future belongs to those who create and control their own original ideas. Jacques Thelemaque is an American screenwriter and director best known as the president of the Los Angeles film collective Filmmakers Alliance. He previously served on the board of directors for The Los Angeles Independent Film Festival (now Film Independent’s Los Angeles Film Festival) and currently sits on the advisory board of the IFP Emerging Filmmaker Labs as well as the boards of the Downtown Film Festival and the Ashland Independent Film Festival.
