World Poetry Day originated in 1999, declared by the United Nations Educational Scientific and Cultural Organization to “support linguistic diversity through poetic expression and increasing the opportunity for endangered languages to be heard”.

This year, we called to our incredibly talented and creative community of students, staff, and alumni at LAFS/LARS to submit their work for this virtual exhibition.

We’ve received an overwhelming response to this call and are proud to showcase all of the poems here.

We also added some Poetry Resources below, please be sure to check it out!

We invite you to have a scroll and enjoy!
