Purpose or role of the position within the organization:
The purpose of this position is to offer additional peer support to students in the online Digital Filmmaking program.
Duties and responsibilities associated with the position and how they relate to the purpose or role:
• Virtually meet students to assist with assignment-related questions in a peer tutor environment
• Ensure student support meetings are in-line with specific requests
• Maintain scheduled, open hours of online availability to answer questions from students
• Regularly communicate concerns and challenges with the Program Manager
General qualifications for the position:
• Minimum 3.5 GPA
• Must have completed at least one year of Digital Filmmaking courses
• Must be eligible for Financial Aid
