Job Description
Applicants must be a full time LAFS on ground with a GPA of 2.0 of higher.

Film Equipment Room Assistant, Work Study for IMT department

Jasmine Castro – Supervisor

Location where the student will perform his/her duties:
The Los Angeles Film School Equipment Room and Stages
Purpose or role of the position within the organization:
Assist the Equipment Room Team with Equipment Prep, and organization of the Equipment Room
Assist Students with Equipment Load-in and Load-Out
Assist Stage Manager with Class support
Duties and responsibilities associated with the position and how they relate to the purpose or role:
Assist Equipment Room Team with Equipment Prep, – Pull equipment and organize it by project/Group, after check-in, Return Equipment to shelves
Organize, and properly wrap gear after, as needed.
Assist Students with Equipment Load-in and Load-Out – Help students load and unload equipment from their vehicles.
Work with Stage Assistant and Stage Manager to assist with classes on stages, monitor the safe use of equipment
General qualifications for the position:
Must have completed Cinematography II.
