New Late Work Policy begins in 2022

Starting in the January 2022 term, our school-wide Late Work Policy will be as follows:

      • Students must notify their instructor in writing before the due date listed in the LMS if they need to request an exception to the due date.

          • Students will have up to 72 hours from the due date to submit the assignment without penalty. After 72 hours, the assignment will earn a 0 grade.

      • A late penalty of 10 points will be applied to the final assignment grade if an exception is not requested in advance of the due date.

          • Students will have up to 72 hours from the due date in the LMS to submit the assignment with a late penalty. After 72 hours, the assignment will earn a 0 grade.

      • All course work must be submitted by the final date of the course (typically Sunday following Week 4 of the term).

      • In extreme circumstances, the student may appeal to the Program Director in writing to receive additional accommodations on a case-by-case basis.

Addendum as of April 2022:

Due to the interactive nature of discussion boards, the late work grace period does not apply. Discussion board posts will not be accepted after the closing date (due date and time) of the Discussion Board.
