Call for Nominations: Online Student of the Month

Call for Nominations: Online Student of the Month

Do you know an online student that makes you say “WOW!”? Take this opportunity to show some appreciation for those students you see making a difference!

The Student of the Month program is meant to promote success in and out of the classroom. For a student to be a well-respected citizen, they must be able to balance many different areas of life. They must exemplify outstanding characteristics both as a student and as a citizen of the LARS/LAFS community. The student must be able to handle many different aspects of student life while maintaining excellence in the classroom.

Questions? Contact the Online Student of the Month Committee at onlinesom@lafilm.edu

Vaccines 2021

Vaccines Available on campus August 11, 2021

The Los Angeles Film School is hosting a mobile vaccination unit on campus on Wednesday, August 11 between 9:30am – 2:30pm for students, alumni, faculty and staff to help stop the spread of COVID-19.

Protect yourself and others, schedule your appointment today if you haven’t already received a vaccine.

ABOUT OUR MOBILE VACCINATION UNIT:
There will be nurses on-site to administer COVID-19 vaccinations. The vaccines available are Pfizer, Moderna and Johnson & Johnson. For the Moderna and Pfizer vaccines, second-dose appointments will automatically be scheduled by the third-party nurses.

For individuals who have already received their first dose of the Moderna or Pfizer vaccines, you may complete your series at this event. Based on the vaccine availability by The Los Angeles County Department of Health, you will be notified to which vaccine, Moderna or Pfizer will be available on August 11, 2021. Your name will be provided to the nurses 3-5 days before the event, and they will be prepared with your second dose.

Once you sign up, you will receive confirmation of your scheduled time slot for your vaccination three days prior.
