BEEF + MINA LE
.I have been LOVING this show. BEEF stars Ali Wong and Steven Yuen. Intense, hilarious and nerve wracking all at the same time. It tells a story of a road rage incident turned obsession between two seemingly different lives. Three words that would describe my viewing experience would be: Wig. Blown. Back.
Go watch it on Netflix!
I have a very short list of YouTubers whom I religiously watch, and Mina Le is right at the top. She creates videos that delve into various subjects, ranging from her insights on red carpet looks and Gen Z maximalism to in-depth explorations of MLMs. Her content is perfectly niche, and she consistently demonstrates a remarkable ability to thoroughly research the topics she covers. Mina Le always manages to hit the nail on the head! We love Mina Le in this home.
WHAT’S ON STEPH’S PLATE?
Ok so, for this AAPI Month I’m going to be biased to Filipino picks because I’m half Filipino and I gotta represent.
HI FI Kitchen + BSweet
Located in Historic Filipinotown! Modern vibes with traditional flavors. The menu includes vegetarian and vegan options so I love that for us.
Every time I step foot on Sawtelle, you best believe I am going to BSweet first. Its Filipino owned and run. I love their bread puddings and their halo halo is AMAZING! If you haven’t tasted halo halo, I highly suggest you visit here. Like ASAP.
